Occupational Therapy Evaluation Helping You Regain Confidence in Everyday Living Before beginning therapy, our licensed occupational therapists conduct a comprehensive in-home evaluation to assess how well you or your loved one can perform everyday tasks and routines. This evaluation gives us a clear picture of your current strengths, challenges, and goals—so we can tailor a therapy plan that truly supports independence and improves quality of life. What We Evaluate: Daily Functioning Assess the ability to complete essential tasks like dressing, bathing, grooming, cooking, and using the bathroom. Mobility and Safety Review home setup, physical limitations, and fall risks to ensure a safer living environment. Cognitive Function Evaluate memory, attention, problem-solving, and the ability to follow multi-step directions. Motor Skills & Coordination Observe fine and gross motor skills to determine hand strength, dexterity, and balance needs. Assistive Devices & Modifications Recommend adaptive tools or home modifications to enhance independence and make daily routines easier. Caregiver & Family Support Identify areas where caregivers may need training or additional help, and offer supportive resources.
